Procedure Description

Thermage FLX is a U.S. FDA-approved radiofrequency (RF) lifting device that delivers heat energy to the deep layers of the skin, contracting collagen and stimulating new collagen production. As a non-surgical lifting treatment, it improves sagging skin, fine lines and loss of elasticity without incisions. At Sia Clinic Daejeon, the number of shots and treatment areas are customized according to your skin thickness and degree of sagging.

Precautions

Temporary redness or swelling may occur after treatment and usually subsides within a few days.

Avoid activities that raise body temperature, such as saunas and intense exercise, for 1 to 2 days after treatment.

Please inform us before treatment if you are pregnant or have a pacemaker or other metal medical device in your body.

After treatment, apply sunscreen thoroughly and keep your skin well moisturized.

FAQ

Does Thermage FLX hurt?

You may feel heat from the radiofrequency energy, but numbing cream and the vibration and cooling functions help reduce discomfort. The level of sensation varies by individual.

When will I see results?

Some people feel firmer skin right after treatment, and changes appear gradually over about 2 to 3 months as collagen regenerates. Results vary by individual.

What is the difference between 600 and 900 shots?

More shots allow energy to be delivered more densely over a wider area. After consultation, we recommend the appropriate number of shots based on your skin thickness, degree of sagging and desired areas.

Can it be combined with other treatments?

Yes, combination treatments with skin boosters such as Re2O or with Ultherapy are available. We plan them together during your consultation based on your skin condition.
