Procedure Description

Terra Shock is a Korean-developed and manufactured piezoelectric (PIEZO) focused extracorporeal shock wave device. It concentrates energy generated by multiple piezo cells onto a single point and delivers it to tissue at the targeted depth, with focal depth adjusted by dedicated gel pads and stimulation strength set by intensity and frequency. According to the manufacturer, it is used for skin elasticity and contour care by supporting collagen and elastin synthesis, blood flow and tissue regeneration. At Sia Clinic Daejeon, Terra Shock is offered at 3,000, 5,000 or 7,000 shots per session, as single or 3-session plans, with modeling, LED regeneration laser or LDM care included depending on shot count. A 3,000-shot add-on to other treatments is also available, and the shot count is planned around your skin and treatment area.

How does Terra Shock differ from heat-based lifting?

While RF and ultrasound devices mainly use heat energy, Terra Shock delivers mechanical stimulation to tissue with shock waves focused on a single point. Because it works differently, it can be done on its own or added as 3,000 shots to another lifting treatment. We recommend the right approach after consultation.

How do 3,000, 5,000 and 7,000 shots differ?

More shots allow wider, denser coverage. 3,000 shots include modeling; 5,000 shots add LED regeneration laser; 7,000 shots include 6 minutes of LDM and modeling. In 3-session plans, the matching aftercare is included each time.

Is the treatment painful?

You may feel a tapping or aching sensation as shock waves are delivered; intensity is adjusted by area. Sensations may vary from person to person.

When will I notice results?

Some feel their skin looks more refined after treatment, and changes are often easier to maintain with repeated sessions at intervals. Results and duration vary by individual.
