Procedure Description

The Signature Melasma & Pigment Program focuses on melasma, alternating two types of toning, RevLite and pico toning, each week. Crossing different lasers reduces repetition of the same stimulus, while Genesis, cryo recovery care and ionto brightening care support melasma-prone skin that can easily become sensitive. BEST 6 weeks is an introductory course that starts with a plasma peel and alternates the two toning types. PREMIUM 10 weeks adds Zoom Pass and butterfly-zone (cheekbone area) pico focus to concentrate on darker pigment and melasma areas, and can be extended to 20 weeks if needed. At Sia Clinic Daejeon, the duration and intensity are adjusted to the depth of melasma and your skin sensitivity.

Precautions

Melasma is sensitive to irritation and UV, so apply sunscreen thoroughly every day during the program.

Please consult us before using irritating home care such as scrubs, peeling agents or retinol.

Do not pick crusts after Zoom Pass or pico focus weeks; let them fall off naturally.

The Signature Pigment Program uses IPL and excel V by type (freckles, vascular melasma, redness), while this program focuses on melasma and is built around alternating RevLite and pico toning. We recommend the right program after examination.

How do BEST 6 weeks and PREMIUM 10 weeks differ?

BEST 6 weeks centers on alternating two toning types with Genesis and ionto brightening, while PREMIUM 10 weeks adds Genesis or Zoom Pass/butterfly-zone pico focus every visit for more concentrated care of darker melasma. A 20-week option is available for longer care.

Will melasma not come back after the program?

Melasma is influenced by hormones, UV, friction and other factors and can darken again. Improvement and how long it lasts vary by individual, and we recommend sun protection and periodic maintenance afterward.
