Basic acne care where lasers, peels and extraction are chosen to match your sebum, inflammation and skin condition

Procedure Description

Acne develops from a combination of excess sebum, clogged pores, inflammation and abnormal keratinization, so choosing care that suits your condition matters more than relying on one method. For sebum control and calming inflammation, we use the Capri Laser, Platinum PTT and acne PDT; for exfoliation and pore care, Jessner scaling, Spectra Peel and Aladdin Peel; and for pustular lesions, full-face extraction and anti-inflammatory injections are added. You can receive treatments individually or continue with 3- or 5-session plans. Options also include Trouble Intensive Care, which combines Jessner, Capri and full extraction in one visit, and Body Aladdin Peel for back and chest acne. Extraction is finished with a modeling mask or cryo soothing care. At Sia Clinic Daejeon, we recommend care based on your skin type and acne stage.

Procedure Process

STEP 1.

Consultation and skin assessment: Acne stage, sebum level and inflammation are checked to choose the care.

STEP 2.

Cleansing and exfoliation: After cleansing, Jessner, Spectra Peel or Aladdin Peel is used as needed.

STEP 3.

Extraction: Clogged sebum and pustules are hygienically extracted.

STEP 4.

Laser and light care: Capri Laser, Platinum PTT or PDT is used to manage sebum and inflammation.

STEP 5.

Injection and soothing: Anti-inflammatory injections if needed, finished with a modeling mask or cryo soothing.

Precautions

Temporary redness or peeling may occur after extraction or peels.

After PDT, avoid strong light and sunlight for the time advised.

Do not squeeze or touch acne with your hands, and use any prescribed medication as directed.

Please tell us during consultation if you are taking acne medication such as isotretinoin.

FAQ

I am not sure which care to choose.

For oily skin with frequent inflammation, the Capri Laser or Platinum PTT may suit; for rough texture and closed comedones, Jessner, Spectra Peel or Aladdin Peel; and for many pustules, extraction with anti-inflammatory injections. We will recommend a suitable combination after checking your skin.

Will extraction leave scars?

Hygienic extraction at the right time can help prevent inflammation from deepening. However, areas that already had deep inflammation may leave marks, and recovery may vary by individual.

How often should I come in?

We generally recommend regular visits every 1–2 weeks, and 3- or 5-session plans help maintain continuity. The duration needed and degree of improvement may vary by individual.
