Procedure Description

Topsco and Tansing Jamber are thread treatments in which dissolvable threads are inserted line by line, adding as many as needed (1 or 2 lines, etc.) to finely refine the nose line. Unlike area-based nose thread options, they are organized by the number of threads, so the degree of change can be adjusted step by step. Options include 1 or 2 lines of Topsco, 1 or 2 lines of Tansing Jamber, and a combination using 2 lines of each. The two threads differ in design and how they provide support, so the suitable type, number and insertion position depend on nasal skin thickness and existing shape. Precautions

Temporary swelling, bruising, foreign-body sensation or tightness may occur and usually eases gradually.

For about 2 weeks, avoid pressing or blowing the nose forcefully and sleeping face down.

If heat, discharge, or a visible or protruding thread is noticed, contact the clinic immediately.
