NUVIJU

NUVIJU

V-line contour care that addresses under-chin fat with injections

About Procedure

About NUVIJU

NUVIJU is a cholic acid-based fat-dissolving injectable developed by Medytox, approved in Korea for the indication of improving moderate or greater submental (under-chin) fat.

Rather than filling volume like a filler, it is injected into areas where fat has accumulated and works by reducing fat cells, and is used to refine a double chin and a blurred jawline. It is performed by injection without incision, and progress is often checked over several divided sessions.

At Sia Clinic Daejeon, we diagnose the amount of under-chin fat, masseter development, and the degree of skin sagging together, and design a 1-vial or 2-vial dosage and whether to combine it with Jaw Botox, Onda, or CoolSoniq for each individual.

FAQ

FAQ

Q.  Is NUVIJU a filler?
No. NUVIJU is not a filler that adds volume but a cholic acid-based fat-dissolving injectable approved for improving under-chin fat. The treatment area and dosage are decided after consultation.
Q.  Which is better, 1 session or 3 sessions?
Fat-dissolving injections are often performed over several divided sessions while checking for changes, so we recommend the 3-session course as the standard; if the amount of fat is small, you can start with 1 session. Results vary by individual.
Q.  What is the difference between 1 vial and 2 vials?
It is a difference in injection volume; the larger the amount and area of under-chin fat, the more likely 2 vials may be needed. We will advise on the appropriate dosage after diagnosis.
Q.  How long does the swelling last?
The injection site may be swollen and sore for several days, usually subsiding within a few days to 1 week. The degree and duration of swelling may vary by individual.
