[Imported] Belotero

[Imported] Belotero

A CPM-technology filler that blends softly into skin tissue

About Procedure

About [Imported] Belotero

Belotero is an imported hyaluronic acid (HA) filler from Merz Aesthetics of Germany, based on CPM (Cohesive Polydensified Matrix) technology, which combines HA of different densities into a single gel.

With its soft, cohesive texture that spreads evenly into skin tissue, it is used across its lineup from delicate areas such as shallow fine lines and depressed scars to volume restoration, and there is also a skin booster product, Belotero Revive.

At Sia Clinic Daejeon, we check the skin thickness of areas such as fine lines and scars, lips, and the forehead and front cheeks, along with your desired results, then design the Belotero product and injection depth for each individual.

Precautions

Before & After Care

Please review the following for the best results.

Swelling, bruising, or small bumps may occur after treatment and usually subside within a few days to 1 week

Do not press or massage the treated area strongly for 1–2 weeks after treatment

Avoid saunas, jjimjilbang (Korean spas), alcohol, and strenuous exercise for about 1 week after treatment

Wide, deep, or tethered scars may be better suited to other treatments than filler, which we will explain during consultation

If there is inflammation or a skin condition at the treatment site, a consultation is needed before treatment

If you experience severe pain, skin color changes (pale or purplish), or vision problems, contact the clinic immediately

FAQ

FAQ

Q.  What is Belotero's CPM technology?
It is Merz Aesthetics' manufacturing technology that makes hyaluronic acid of different densities into a single cohesive gel. Because it spreads softly, it is also used for shallow-layer injections.
Q.  Is Belotero Revive different from the filler?
Revive is a skin booster product aimed at improving skin hydration and texture rather than creating volume. The number of sessions and intervals will be advised after consultation based on your skin condition.
Q.  Is it effective for scars?
Filler helps soften contours by filling depressed areas, but it does not remove the scar itself. The degree of improvement differs by scar type, and results vary by individual.
Q.  How long do the effects last?
It depends on the product, area, and lifestyle, and often lasts from several months to about a year. Duration varies by individual.
Q.  What if I am not satisfied with the result?
Hyaluronic acid fillers can be dissolved with hyaluronidase (filler-dissolving injection) if needed. We check progress 1–2 weeks after the swelling subsides and advise on correction options.
