Thermage FLX is a non-surgical firming and lifting device that delivers monopolar radiofrequency (RF) energy to the dermis and subcutaneous tissue to induce collagen contraction and regeneration.

Thermage FLX is strong at improving overall skin firmness and texture with radiofrequency (RF) energy, while Ultherapy PRIME is strong at lifting sagging lines by delivering focused ultrasound down to the SMAS layer. Depending on skin condition, the two are sometimes performed together.

Q. How is the number of shots decided?

It is decided after consultation, such as 600 or 900 shots, based on facial area, skin thickness, and degree of sagging, and the eye area can be planned separately with the dedicated tip.

Q. Is it painful?

A deep heat may be felt momentarily, but discomfort is reduced with numbing cream and the cooling and vibration functions. Sensitivity varies from person to person.

Q. When will I see results?

Some people feel firmer right after treatment, and improvement appears gradually over 2-6 months as collagen regenerates. Results and how long they last vary from person to person.
