Laetigen

Laetigen

A collagen injection that directly replenishes the skin with Type I collagen

About Procedure

About Laetigen

Laetigen is a collagen injection that delivers high-purity Type I collagen into the dermis, helping to care for skin density, elasticity and texture.

Unlike approaches in which biodegradable ingredients such as PLLA, PDLLA, CaHA or PCL 'induce' collagen production, its distinctive feature is that it directly replenishes collagen itself. It is described as a product that undergoes a purification process to remove telopeptides, which are associated with immune reactions.

At Sia Clinic Daejeon, we check your skin thickness and elasticity to plan the injection areas, dose and number of sessions, and we also advise on combining it with lifting devices after consultation.

FAQ

FAQ

Q.  How is Laetigen different from other collagen boosters?
Sculptra (PLLA), Juvelook (PDLLA), Radiesse (CaHA) and GOURI (PCL) work by having their ingredients stimulate collagen production in the skin, while Laetigen replenishes the skin with Type I collagen itself. We will recommend a product suited to your skin condition during consultation.
Q.  How many sessions do I need?
Usually 2–3 sessions at 2–4-week intervals are performed before considering maintenance, and the number is adjusted according to your skin condition. Results vary by individual.
Q.  Should I be concerned about allergies?
Although it is a purified product, you must tell us before treatment if you have a history of allergy to collagen or injection procedures. Suitability is determined after examination.
Q.  How long do the results last?
The duration depends on skin condition, number of sessions and lifestyle, and varies by individual. We will explain the expected range during your examination.
