Laser Toning

Laser Toning

Evenly at low output, clearing skin tone step by step

About Procedure

About Laser Toning

Laser toning is a treatment that applies a Q-switched Nd:YAG laser evenly across the skin at low output to address melasma and dull skin tone step by step over multiple sessions.

Sia Clinic Daejeon offers Lutronic VRM4 toning and RevLite SI toning. RevLite is a device designed to distribute beam energy evenly, and the device is chosen according to skin condition and purpose.

Sia Clinic Daejeon checks the type of pigment and skin sensitivity to design the device, number of sessions, soothing care such as Mummy mask, cryo, or LDM, and whether to combine with Genesis for each individual.

FAQ

FAQ

Q.  How many toning sessions do I need?
Melasma and skin tone are often managed step by step over multiple sessions, so treatment is offered in 5- or 10-session packages. The number of sessions needed varies from person to person depending on skin condition.
Q.  How are VRM4 toning and RevLite toning different?
Both are Q-switched Nd:YAG toning devices, and RevLite is designed to distribute beam energy evenly. We will recommend the device suited to your skin condition during consultation.
Q.  How is it different from pico toning?
Laser toning uses nanosecond pulses, while pico toning uses even shorter picosecond pulses. We will recommend the appropriate method based on pigment type and skin sensitivity.
Q.  Can I wear makeup right after treatment?
Makeup is possible on the same day in most cases. If there is redness, we recommend waiting until it settles and starting with gentle products.
