Piccolo Premium

Piccolo Premium

Precisely targeting well-defined blemishes with a picosecond laser

About Procedure

About Piccolo Premium

Piccolo Premium is a picosecond laser by LaserOptek with two wavelengths, 1064nm and 532nm, allowing the wavelength to be selected according to the depth and color of the pigment.

At Sia Clinic Daejeon, it is mainly used for blemish removal that intensively targets well-defined pigment such as freckles, spots, and lentigines, while the surrounding skin tone is refined with toning.

Sia Clinic Daejeon confirms the number and depth of pigmented spots through examination, then determines the wavelength, intensity, and number of sessions, and designs whether to combine it with a toning package for each individual.

Precautions

Before & After Care

Please review the following for the best results.

Scabs may form on the treated area; do not pick them and let them fall off naturally

Protect the treated area using the regenerating ointment or patches as instructed

Temporary hyperpigmentation may occur after scabs fall off, so sun protection is especially important

Avoid exfoliation and harsh cleansing while scabs are present

Avoid saunas, alcohol, and strenuous exercise for 1-2 days after treatment

Pigmented spots with an irregular shape or recent changes will be examined before treatment

FAQ

FAQ

Q.  Will blemishes disappear after one session?
Superficial blemishes may fade after one session, but multiple sessions may be needed depending on pigment depth. The degree of improvement may vary from person to person.
Q.  Is there a reason to combine it with toning?
Piccolo intensively targets noticeable blemishes, while toning evens out the surrounding skin tone. Combining them allows blemishes and overall tone to be managed separately.
Q.  How long do the scabs last?
They usually fall off naturally within about 5-10 days, varying by area and intensity. Please continue to use sun protection even after the scabs have fallen off.
Q.  Can melasma also be removed with Piccolo?
Melasma can react sensitively to stimulation, so it is often managed mainly with toning rather than intensive targeting. We identify the pigment through examination and then recommend the appropriate method.
