LaserOptek LOTUS III

LaserOptek LOTUS III

Precisely refining the skin surface with an Er:YAG laser.

About Procedure

About LaserOptek LOTUS III

LaserOptek LOTUS III is an erbium YAG (Er:YAG) laser, an ablative laser that thinly resurfaces the skin by taking advantage of its high absorption by water.

Because it can be precisely controlled while transferring relatively little heat to the surrounding tissue, it is used for various purposes from light resurfacing to a fractional method that creates microscopic columns. It is used to address rough skin texture, pores, acne scars, and small surface lesions.

Sia Clinic Daejeon checks scar depth, skin thickness, and the time available for recovery to design the treatment method, depth, and number of sessions for each individual.

FAQ

FAQ

Q.  How is it different from a CO2 laser?
Both are ablative lasers that resurface the skin, but Er:YAG has a high water absorption rate and is mainly used for relatively shallow, precise resurfacing, while CO2 has a greater thermal effect and is mainly used for lesion removal and similar purposes. We will recommend the device suited to your purpose during consultation.
Q.  How long is the recovery period?
It varies with intensity and method; redness and fine scabs usually last about 3-7 days. The recovery period may vary from person to person.
Q.  How many sessions do I need?
Some people notice changes in skin texture after one session, but scars and pores are often treated over several sessions at 4-6 week intervals. Results vary from person to person.
Q.  Is it painful?
Treatment is performed after applying numbing cream generously to reduce discomfort. You may feel a stinging or hot sensation, and the degree may vary from person to person.
