PicoSure

PicoSure

Breaking pigment into finer particles with 755nm picosecond pulses.

About Procedure

About PicoSure

PicoSure is a 755nm picosecond (one-trillionth of a second) laser focused on breaking down pigment in the skin into fine particles through the pressure effect of extremely short pulses.

Designed to reduce thermal action, it is used both for PicoSure Toning, which evens out overall facial tone, and for Zoom Pass spot treatment, which targets noticeable blemishes.

Sia Clinic Daejeon checks the depth and distribution of pigment and skin sensitivity, then designs the balance of toning and spot treatment, number of sessions, and soothing care for each individual.

Refrain from using exfoliants or irritating cosmetics on the treated area

Please let us know in advance if you are pregnant, taking photosensitizing medication, or have recently tanned

FAQ

FAQ

Q.  What is the difference between PicoSure Toning and regular laser toning?
Regular laser toning uses nanosecond pulses, while PicoSure uses even shorter picosecond pulses. We will recommend the appropriate method during consultation based on pigment type and skin sensitivity, and results vary from person to person.
Q.  What is Zoom Pass?
It is a spot treatment that uses PicoSure to intensively target noticeable blemish areas. It can be combined with toning or performed on its own, and thin scabs may form depending on the area.
Q.  How many sessions do I need?
Toning is often received consistently over several sessions at 1-2 week intervals, and spot treatment may require 1-3 sessions depending on pigment depth. The number of sessions needed may vary from person to person.
Q.  Is it painful?
Toning feels like a light snapping sensation, and spot treatment is performed after applying numbing cream. The level of sensation may vary from person to person.
